Our clients purchased this Lake Monroe lot from us and enlisted Loren Wood Builders to design and build their family home. Our architect Ernesto Castaneda worked with them to create a sharp, modern design that is softened by warm material choices and colors. The LWB design team worked with our clients to create interesting spaces inside the home.

Bloomington Cohousing is the first cohousing neighborhood in Indiana. It is a neighborhood on the southwest side of Bloomington centered around intentional community living. The neighborhood has twenty-six homes and community common spaces throughout. Out of the five floor plans available this is our Garden Cottage and currently is our model home.

This workshop/barn, designed by Springpoint Architects, was a really exciting project for us. It is situated on a rural site on edge of Lake Monroe, on somewhat tricky topography for a barn. The designers took advantage of the grade change to create a basement storage area along the downhill side of the barn, while the main floor has an expansive workspace, restroom, tool rooms, and hardware storage.

This home in Brown County is nestled in the woods near Yellowwood State Park. Our clients worked with Delv Design out of Indy for the architectural drawings and we were super excited to bring their vision to reality.

This was a multi-stage project that started with a barn/apartment that enabled the clients to live on the property while we built the primary home.

These clients contacted us about building their dream home on their family farm. We worked with Springpoint Architects and our clients to develop the site and to place the house in the pasture surrounded by woods. This build was in the formal planning stages a year before we broke ground!
This was one of our more rewarding LWB projects because of the interplay between mechanical systems, the landscape itself, and the forward-thinking design. We are so proud of the LWB crew, as well as our subcontractors and the rest of the team, who helped us bring this build to a conclusion.
