Project Designers Priscilla Rocha and Tucker Jaroll went on a trip that started in Brasília and ended with a fifteen-hour road trip to Rio de Janeiro where they spent a handful of sunny days in Copacabana. Brasília is known for its modernist architecture, so they were really looking forward to exploring the city.
We have two interns working with us this winter and spring, Madison Knott and Megan Hodge. They will be helping with our design team and with project management.
Our design team continues to grow and we’re so happy to welcome Allyn on board as our Project Designer. He will be overseeing the development of architectural concepts, planning, design documentation, and coordinating projects.

Sarah Menefee, Boston-born and Bloomington-raised, she loves to sing and work with her hands. Sarah came to work at Loren Wood Builders in October of 2018. She works on a multitude of projects but focuses mainly on demolition and carpentry.
Ernesto Castañeda has compiled nearly two decades of professional design experience in Bloomington. Ernesto has worked with a variety of clients, from business owners and private developers to single-family homeowners. He completed his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Universidad Veracruzana in the State of Veracruz, Mexico in 1997.
Russell Wyatt has been a carpenter for over 30 years. As a Loren Wood Builders punch list specialist, Russell can typically be found doing trim carpentry and extremely detailed work. He enjoys work that takes a lot of time and precision. Russell serves as a mentor for younger LWB carpenters, teaching his craft to beginning carpenters and veterans alike.
