Remodel
Guinness Ct. Kitchen & Bath Remodel
Our client contacted us about updating her 25-year-old custom home. Nestled in 50 park-like acres in Northeast Monroe County, the home was originally built by Garrett Mangum. LWB’s Russ Herndon and Alex Minor coordinated with our client to design the renovation, and our team of Garrett Kane, Jabez Harris, Jess Harris, and others executed this remodel.
LWB’s Will Hill installed a custom walnut and cherry medallion into the refinished white oak flooring. Designed by the client, the flooring accent highlights the new kitchen island. Other highlights of the kitchen finishes were saving the original Wolf stove and the retrofitted flour bin. New cabinets and tile were installed in both the kitchen and the primary bath and new countertops were installed in each primary closet wing as well.
In the primary bath, a beautiful tile scheme with a heated floor was installed and a floor-to-ceiling glass surround for the primary shower. Erik Weaver and Brad Snyder from the LWB electric team implemented an elegant lighting system for the interior of the primary bath cabinetry.
This project was rewarding on many levels. Our client had a strong vision, and our crew was able to augment the design with a lot of problem-solving and creativity. We were honored to be part of the updating process for this classic home.
