The homeowners reached out to us after purchasing a home with a very dated kitchen. It was dark, small, and closed off from the rest of the home. The new design opened up the kitchen, while maintaining the architectural charm of the home. The new arch separating the kitchen and dining room echoed the existing arches on the adjacent porch. Additionally, the original 4’ cast iron sink and original faucet were rebuilt and repurposed as the centerpiece of the kitchen. Finally, the window was enlarged to add more light into the space and a wall of cabinetry was added to increase pantry and storage space.
Our clients had amazing taste and picked out some beautiful concrete tiles that run to the ceiling on two walls and opted for a bright orange accent color on the upper cabinets. We love this kitchen!
