We were excited and honored when our good friends reached out to us for help renovating their newly purchased home. This home, previously owned by their mother, needed some updating and they wanted to add their own personality to the space. With design help from Stoll’s Woodworking and Whimsily Interiors, we were able to create a clean, beautiful, and contemporary space that still honored the colonial style of the original salt-box home.

Numerous updates were done, including a completely new kitchen and main floor bathroom and laundry room. Some extra special elements were added, such as a herringbone accent wall in the living room, a reclaimed barn beam over the fireplace, and a hidden door entry into the laundry from the kitchen. All of these updates helped make the space work for this next generation in the family home.
