Remodel

Shilo

This unique remodel in Unionville proved to be one of our largest and most complicated. We worked with Springpoint Architects on this extensive project to redesign the interior and exterior, adding an elevator to allow access to all four floors of this gorgeous home. A large majority of the roof was torn off of the third floor to create a stunning master suite. On one side, what used to be a screened-in porch was transformed into a master bathroom with phenomenal views, a heated tile floor, curb-less shower and custom mirrors. On the other, we raised the floor to make it one level and created a walk-in closet and elevator access. Every window on this floor was replaced and many were added throughout the entire home. One of the goals here was to make the beautiful surrounding scenery a feature accentuating the minimal interior and it was a great success. We were really able to bring the outside in on this project! Original Red Oak joists were left intact in the house and complimented by an entirely redone staircase and rail system. The carpets on the dining level were removed and replaced with engineered 7 inch pre-finished oak. We raised grade and added a breezeway and two car garage. The exterior of the home was also overhauled with new channel rustic cedar, concrete board siding, and standing seam roofs. We were happy to continue work on this home after completing a breath-taking kitchen remodel. A challenging job that has been so rewarding thanks to the wonderful clients. We are absolutely thrilled with the result.
