Designing your home is the most important step in the entire building process. When you sign a design contract with Loren Wood Builders, you’re investing in a clear roadmap for your custom home. Our design process thoughtfully develops every detail, from initial sketches to detailed floor plans and 3D models, before construction begins. This first step gives you clarity, confidence, and control over your future home.
A Design Plan Includes:
Pre-Design
We start by learning about your lifestyle, goals, and inspirations through a questionnaire and shared images. Our feasibility study then evaluates site conditions, budget, and regulatory factors to ensure your vision is practical and achievable before moving into design.
Schematic Design
We translate your ideas into concept sketches, floor plans, and axonometric drawings to visualize your home. A rough range estimate and floor plan is provided.
Design Development
Our team refines 3D models, creates elevations, and develops detailed specifications so space is thoughtfully planned.
Construction Documents
We prepare the documentation needed to move your project toward permitting, ensuring your plans are ready for the next phase.
Interior & Landscape Design (optional)
Additional options are to extend your contract to include interior and landscape design.
