This home overlooks a huge backyard that is dedicated to our clients’ wonderful gardens. However, the back porch and patio were in a state of disrepair, retaining walls were failing, and the deer were having a field day with the gardens. Our scope of work here was to redo the porch and patio and integrate it into the landscaping.
This home is fairly new, but the decorative corbels used by the original builder were composed simply of construction lumber and extended past the eaves and rake overhangs with no attempts at flashing. The result was that every one of the corbels on the home had significant amounts of rot and insect damage. Ultimately, we removed them entirely and rebuilt with cedar.
We were commissioned by a client to create concrete countertops for their home. We formed, poured, polished and installed these in their kitchen and bathroom.
