Welcome, Priscilla!
Originally from the midcentury metropolis of Brasilia, Brazil, Priscilla grew up in Valparaiso, Indiana with her mom and two younger brothers. Priscilla was drawn to architecture after working for years in the Bloomington arts scene and organizing First Friday Gallery Walks. She is fascinated with how the spaces we occupy have power over our ability to connect, understand, and grow as individuals and in our communities.
Priscilla is a double IU alumnus with a bachelor’s degree in Arts Management and a Master of Architecture from the J. Irwin Miller Program. She has worked with a diverse variety of organizations to create meaningful programs, events, and installations, including a 10,000-square-foot asphalt mural in Columbus, IN. Her favorite thing in the world is paint, she loves all conversations involving the spirit of big ideas and is currently remodeling a 1920s bungalow in Bloomington with her fiance and three tiny dogs – Salvador, Pablo, and Frida.
